Dog Training Programs
Dog Training Programs
Let's be honest, dog training is equal parts training the dog and the human at the end of the leash. Our programs are designed to give you a SOLID understanding of WHO your dog is, learn HOW to communicate with them and ultimately improving your relationship. The Co-op is centered on helping you beyond training so you can live a successful life with your dogs.
This is why the Canine Cooperative founded the M.E.L.L.O. Method; to help you with your dog by using a holistic approach to address behavior modification. We believe in addressing dogs as a WHOLE. Behavioral problems are generally symptomatic of a deeper rooted issue that exists within the relationship between yourself and your dog. Traditional obedience does not address any of this and alone does not resolve issues which owners are experiencing.
Our goal is for you to live a FULL life with your dog... after all, that's why we have them!

Dog training start to finish. Learn how to successfully live and communicate with your dog, while we help with the heavy lifting of obedience training.
Over the course of six months, you and your dog will be working alongside trainers who will help you learn more than just the basics of successful dog ownership, but how to communicate effectively with your dog to fulfill their needs and improve overall behavior. You and your dog will begin by meeting with the trainers once a month for three months for training sessions that focus on teaching you about your dog and how to set up a supportive lifestyle at home before your dog comes for the immersion portion of the program. You will also be able to access homework exercises and informational videos through our e-course to help you and your dog at home in between your monthly sessions. Your dog will then joins us for 3 weeks at the Co-op for the e-collar training program which is designed to set your dog up for off leash success, appropriate real world exposure, socialization and further behavior modification. Half way through your dog's stay, you will come to have a full training session with your dog and your trainers so that you can learn how to communicate with your dog using the tools and techniques that will help you be successful at home. When it comes time to take your pup home with you, you will have another training session to teach you how to transfer your dog into your home and teach you how to navigate any real life scenarios you and your dog might encounter during your first week post training. Once you and your dog have been living your new life at home for a while, we have you and your dog come back for 2 more training sessions to work on improving and moving forward together and answer any questions you might have.
